"Henri Pourrat was a great Poet from Auvergne. He and I were kindred spirits. We shared a common passion for earth and peasantry. Those elements inspired me to make 29 drypoints to illustrate his wonderful "calendrier des Bergers" ( the Shepherds' calendar).
